My background is in Psychology. I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology as well as a Masters Degree in this subject from The London School of Economics. After many years working as an academic researcher in London, I gained additional qualifications in the areas of counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.
I am passionate about helping people to make positive changes to their lives. As well as being a fully trained and qualified accredited Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Counsellor, I am also a fully qualified Clinical Supervisor which means I support and oversee the work of other therapists.
I am fully insured and hold accredited memberships with both The National Hypnotherapy Society, and The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society which are each registered with the Professional Standards Authority. As an accredited member of both of these bodies I am bound by their strict codes of conduct and ethical guidelines.
I am an approved affiliate of Anxiety UK and I have also done work for CRUSE bereavement services as a counsellor and a supervisor. I have undertaken additional extensive specialist training in numerous areas such as anxiety, self-esteem and bereavement.
I take pride in my work and I care about the well-being of my clients. If you are happy then I am happy. The vast majority of my clients come through personal recommendations.
